We used animation and text graphics to clearly communicate the important details, support the key messages and help to visualise the journey through the farm and make it an overall engaging film.
For each episode, we have produced one longer-format film, three micro films exploring the subtopics in detail, as well as nationwide TV ads and social media content.
In 2024, we are continuing our work with RSPCA Assured, creating more episodes for this series. New content coming soon.
WELLYVISION
WellyVision is a new micro-documentary series, which aims to create more transparency and educate consumers around food labelling on animal products and build confidence around the RSPCA Assured food labelling scheme.
The animal welfare of farmed animals is a big topic and gives rise to many big questions. A growing number of consumers are concerned with where their meat and animal products come from and how they are produced, but with so many different food labels, it is hard to understand what each means.
It seems paradoxical for an animal charity to be involved with animal farming, however, as this film explains, RSPCA cannot ignore the welfare of these animals and are keen to offer consumers a higher welfare option and to help them to make a more informed choice.
This series takes place on the farms up close with the animals to demonstrate their environment, conditions, and the process from start to finish reflecting an open-door approach.
Food journalist and broadcaster Kate Quilton leads each episode, discussing the process in detail with the farmers and RSPCA Assured’s Head of Farming. Kate is naturally inquisitive with a known interest in uncovering the truth around food and leaves no stone unturned from the
consumers’ perspective. She asks the all-important questions in a clear and pragmatic way that consumers understand.
On shoot, it was important to be as unobtrusive as possible to the animals and their environment, scaling back our crew and kit to minimise our impact and as a result we were able to capture very authentic moments and behaviour.
