We distributed the films online, in prisons, via WhatsApp and through online publications, targeting those specifically affected by the changes to the system during lockdown.
These films were a great success at both raising awareness for the charity and for providing vital information to those affected within the criminal justice system.

CHANGES IN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM
User Voice is an amazing charity that aims to engage those in and around the criminal justice system in order to bring about reform and improve criminal justice services.
This film was part 3 of a series of films that were commissioned by the NHS to inform those in the criminal justice system affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
To make this film at the height of the pandemic, we had to be efficient and resourceful to deliver an engaging video within a short time frame. We combined remote filming techniques with archive footage, infographics and animation to deliver clear advice to prisoners and bring them some comfort during this difficult period.
User Voice is run by people who have been in prison and on probation. Lived experience means they engage empathetically instead of sympathetically. It was therefore important that we focused on bringing Gary's message life to establish this.
