Client:
St Giles Trust

Brief:
To celebrate St. Giles Trust’s 60th anniversary, we were tasked with creating a short film that captured the essence of their event. The film needed to highlight the charity’s journey, its approach, impact, and the diverse individuals they support. It also served as a key element in their fundraising appeal to redesign and expand their Head Office.

60th anniversary

Treatment:

To celebrate St. Giles Trust’s 60th anniversary, we developed a unique concept that invited key members of the charity to a virtual event. In this event, we projected their rich history onto the walls of an urban factory, reflecting their working-class London origins. The space, steeped in industrial grit, helped embody the charity’s journey from its roots to its present-day impact.

The shoot quickly turned into a lively celebration, with the contributors immersed in the history of the organisation, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and joy. The personal stories shared by staff and contributors highlighted the profound impact of St. Giles, and the day became not just about filming, but a party for all involved. The end result was a powerful, heartfelt film that encapsulated the charity’s past, present, and the vibrant spirit of everyone who’s played a part in its journey.

To complement our major donor event film, we crafted a recruitment film where contributors shared their personal motivations for working with St. Giles. This heartwarming piece shines a light on the people behind the charity, showcasing their passion and dedication.

The project required careful planning, from imagery and contributor selection to audio and set design, ensuring each element visually reinforced the charity’s core messages.

We delivered a powerful film that stayed true to St. Giles’ brand, values, and vision, all while adhering to budget constraints. A key focus was making sure all contributors felt valued and had an enjoyable experience.

To optimise the production budget, we also created a secondary film, along with three social media cutdowns highlighting the anniversary, the charity's impact, and the fundraising appeal. Two 15-second stories were also produced to further engage the audience.

Testimonial: "Thank you for bringing our work to life so expertly and creatively. It was so much fun working together on this project!"
